Biography
Amanda has always identified as an artist, once saying, “I create art, therefore I am an artist.” She studied Theatre Production at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and worked as a props artisan with the Denver Center Theatre Company. Her passion for creativity and education led her to teach theatre at two Colorado high schools. In 2006, she earned her Master’s in Education from Regis University. After the birth of her twin daughters, Amanda returned to her first love—visual art. She now teaches art at Castle View High School in Castle Rock, Colorado. Her work blends narrative, emotion, and material exploration. Amanda’s series The Favorites was featured in the KBM Online Gallery, and her art has been exhibited in venues across Castle Rock. Recently, she has expanded into regional art fairs, continuing to grow as both an educator and practicing artist.
