Biography
As a Pediatric RN and educator of 38 years at Colorado Children's Hospital and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, I have used art to help my young patients express their physical and emotional challenges through a variety of artistic modalities.
The Easter Seals Discovery Club for special needs kids ,CHC Kids Street Program has given me the opportunity to assist autistic and non-verbal kiddos in communicating through painting, pastels, manipulative material, dance and music therapy.
Therapeutic riding has also been an important part of my life, exposing children to the gentle and loving nature of horses.
As an avid outdoors woman, my inspiration and materials come from the natural world and all creatures great and small.
At this point in my life, I have the time to focus on expressing my self through my medium, sharing my art with others, building an artistic community and mentoring/encouraging the next generation of young healers.
