Exciting News!!
Castle Rock Artist Alliance will be holding an art show for our artist members April 5th – April 27th at the Tri-Lakes Art Center in Palmer Lake, Colorado. This is a great opportunity for our organization and our artists, and it is exclusive to CRAA. This will be open to the first 30 artist members by RSVP and registration of your work through the CRAA website “Events Page.” If we do not have an RSVP by at least 30 artists, then we will reopen the call so that the participating artists can display more than three pieces.
Contact for the show is Cindy Eberly: cindyeberlyart23@gmail.com
Registration – To register, go to the CRAA website “Events Page,” click on the art show event, select “RSVP,” then select “Complete RSVP.” Then complete the RSVP form. You will then need to click the Art Application link to complete the art application form. This form will provide you the ability to upload up to 3 images of your art. We have also provided a link to our donation portal where you can process a donation.
Cost – is $30 per participating artist. You are allowed to display three pieces of your work at the show. Please make sure your membership is current with CRAA. If it is not, you can renew through the website. To pay your $30 entry fee, please go to the website, click on the “Donate Tab,” select “General Fund,” then select “Custom Amount” and type in $30. Enter your credit card information, and then hit the “Submit” button. You will receive an email with your receipt. If not received, check your spam folder
Time Frames for Event – April 3rd from 10 – 12pm will be art drop off by artists at the Tri-Lake Center for the Arts in Palmer Lake (15-20 minute drive south from Castle Rock). Art will then be hung by CRAA volunteers and the Events Committee from 12 – 2pm. On April 5th there will be an opening reception for all members and the public at the Tri-Lakes Center. Members should bring an appetizer or dessert to share, and there will be a cash bar available. On April 30th from 10 -12pm will be the day when all artists will need to pick up their artwork from the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts.
Commissions/Sales – For work that is sold during the show, the process is as follows: the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts will receive 30% of the sale, and the artist will receive 70%. When the piece is sold, Tri-Lakes will call the artist to inform them. A red sticker will be placed on the piece indicating to the public that the piece is sold. Pick up is generally at the conclusion of the show; however, if the client wants the piece at the time of purchase they have the right to take it with them. The artist will then have the option to replace the sold piece with another from their collection.
This is an amazing opportunity for members and is another opportunity for CRAA to help promote your art to the surrounding communities. Please take advantage of this special event.
